Projects

My research area is focused on Self-Adaptive Software Systems, Smart Applications and Situation-aware and Context-aware Systems, and recently I am focusing on Runtime Models.
Outside my research and academic life, I enjoy my lifetime passions: crafting, writing and baking. I hold a double degree; Software Engineering (2007)* and Telecommunications Engineering (2007), and a Master in Information and Communications Management (2012), all three in Universidad Icesi (Colombia). My true vocation is academia, now I am a PhD Student in the Computer Science department of the University of Victoria (Canada) and my supervisor is Dr Hausi Müller.
My career and future plans are in the academia. I wish to keep working on research, contribute and collaborate with other computer scientists to keep providing better solutions to ordinary problems.

(*) My official title in Colombia translates as "Systems engineering" in which 'systems' is equivalent to 'software systems', thus Software Engineering as a title in north america.
