 I am from Nagpur,India. I did my undergrad in Electronics engineering(2006-2010) from Nagpur university. Having gained around 5 years of experience in the software industry, I decided to take my career to the next level. Currently, I am pursuing my masters in Computer science from University of Victoria. What is your research about and why are you excited about your projects? My research is focused on Cyber Physical systems and self-managing and self-adaptive systems. Beside this, I have an ever-going interest in many fields of computer science. I worked as a Software developer in Cybage Software Limited where I have developed the various web application projects using web development languages PHP, AJAX, JQuery, JavaScript and back-end systems like PERL, Unix and MySQL. My experience at Cybage was instrumental in maturing my skills as a software developer. After two and half years at Cybage Software, I decided to explore another important aspect of software development - Testing. I joined Capgemini India Pvt. Ltd as an Automation Tester.In this role, not only have I learnt state-of-the-art testing methodologies and cutting-edge industry standards such as JMeter, Selenium etc. but I have also discovered a huge personal interest in learning new technologies and efficiently applying them to solve real problems. What do you like to do outside of research and academics? Apart from work and studies, I love to do various sporting activities like Chess and Swimming, also I try to explore my creative ideas through my hands on the various craft related works like making creative greeting cards etc. What are your career goals and future plans? My goal is to be involved in those areas where I can learn and strengthen my technical skills and get more practical exposure. Also, I would like to work in companies where I can utilize my skills and knowledge for organizational and personal growth. |
